hi i lost my baby girl in january 10th 2010 she had a heart problem and fell sick just before christmas she was in and out of icu which she seem to recover well but as soon as she was taken off the iv medication and put on the same stuff oraly she just got realy sick again, i begged the vet to keep her at the vets untill a day before xmas and i would bring her home for xmas as i wanted 1 last xmas with her i had to make the hardest decision of my life to have her put down, i cry every day still and miss her so much i cant seem to let go i still regret makeing that decision and hate myself for it, i know i will always love and miss amy but i wish i could have 1 day where i didnt cry all the time any suggestions id love to hear from you pleaseeeeee? kel  |

I noticed you lost your soul mate some time ago and your pain is still so raw. Six months after losing my beloved 3yr old cat I had a breakdown and had to go on medication, I tried really hard to cope but just couldn't. It is over a year since my loss and I am now coping much better, still miss him, but since getting another kitten, I have been able to love again. They say when something you love dies, a piece of your heart goes with them, but when you find love again, you get a piece back.
I know how you feel and you have my deepest sympathy, I know the devastation such a loss brings. I'm sorry I didn't see your message earlier and send you some comfort, I have just started posting here. Please let me know how you are doing.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand exactly how you feel. I lost my little dog,Cindy,on Feb 22nd when she drowned in a dam when we were out for a walk.That was over 5 months ago and I still think of her every day.Somedays when I'm out for a walk and pass a place where she used to dig for a rabbit I am overcome with grief and burst into tears and yet other times I can smile at the memory.I think that this means as time passes we can put the tears behind us and have happy memories of our beloved pets.They give us such wonderful unconditional love that makes it so hard when they leave us.I do hope that one day soon you will overcome your grief(as I am still struggling to do). |
