Stuff to consider

Essential Items...

  • Collar- your cat collar should be "cat safe" as well as being fashionable. Having a bell attached is a great idea to protect wildlife against your cats natural instincts.

  • ID Tag- an absolute essential, unless your cat can speak.

  • Food Bowl- a necessity for any puss, be it a plastic or crockery dish.

  • Food- Its important to start your kitten with the right food, a food full of nutrition and antioxidants for every life stage.

  • Water Bowl- there should always be a source of water available at all times, remember a bigger bowl for the summer months.

  • Bedding- for a safe place for kitty to snuggle up.

  • Brush & Comb- to keep their coat clean shiny and healthy, with no knots or matt's. Especially important for longer hair breeds.

  • Toys- kittens are inquisitive and like to play, if you don't provide for them your curtains could become their next toy!

  • Litter Boxes- ... were not going to explain why!

  • Wormers- for control of tapeworm, hookworm and roundworm.

Recommended Items...

  • Treats- just to show how much you care for your cat!

  • Shampoo & Conditioner- to help keep their coats shiny and healthy.

  • Tick Prevention- yes, cats too - especially in coastal regions, or in other words where 90% of Australians live! Find out more about Ticks in Australia.

  • Auto Feeder- for those nights it's not always possible to be home to feed kitty.

  • Books- from general cat care to specific literature on cat breeds. Learn more about your new kitty.

Items To Consider...

  • Cat Door- most cats are indoor and out door pets and you will soon get tired of letting puss inside and out! LMP has one of the largest range of cat doors available in Australia.

  • Lead- can be handy to teach your cat to walk with you, or if puss is an indoor cat and not used to being outside.

  • Harness- stops unnecessary strain on your cats collar when using a lead.

  • Picture Frames- keep forever those precious kitten moments.

  • Kitten Keychains- for you!
