Description... |
|
The Havana Brown's most obvious
characteristic is its beautiful brown short coat. It is a cat of the
Siamese body type, but with a head longer than it is wide, narrowing
to a rounded muzzle. The eyes are green, and the ears tilt forward
slightly. The coat is short, coloured chestnut to mahogany. No other
coat colour and no patterned coats are accepted.

History...
|
|
The first recognized solid brown
cats were imported into England from Europe by a British cat fancier
named Mrs. French in 1894. In the 1950's, the Baroness von Ullman of
England began a rigorous breeding program to establish this breed.
